<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for piping, which connects a copper pipe with a copper pipe and gives a simple connection. <P>SOLUTION: In a pipe joint, a groove 5 for mounting an O-ring 4 at both ends of the outer circumference in a circumferential direction of a cylindrical joint 3 is provided, and water leakage at a connection part of piping is prevented by inserting the O-ring to the groove. A plurality of T-shaped protrusions 6 are formed in the space of the groove 5 forming a specific clearance with the outside diameter of a joint body 2. At a connection end 9 of piping, an expanded pipe slightly larger than the outside diameter of the joint 3 is processed to form a first expanded pipe part 10. The end of the first expanded pipe part 10 is further expanded to form the second expanded pipe part 11. A step part 8 is provided at the T-shaped protrusion 6 facing the joint body 3, and from both sides of the joint body 3, a pipe 2 is inserted, and then the step part 8 latches the second expanded pipe part 11 to stop the pipe 2 from coming off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
