<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high camera shake correction effect for a combining type camera shake correction method. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises a first imaging unit that captures an image with a relatively wide angle of view and a second imaging unit that captures an image with a relatively narrow angle of view. A wide-angle long-exposure image is captured with a relatively long exposure time by the first imaging apparatus (a wide-angle camera) and a telescopic short-exposure image T<SB POS="POST">S</SB>is captured with a relatively short exposure time by the second imaging apparatus (a telescopic camera) at the same time. After an image with an angle of view corresponding to the telescopic short-exposure image T<SB POS="POST">S</SB>is clipped from the wide-angle long-exposure image, an image W<SB POS="POST">L</SB>' obtained by enlarging the image size of the clipped image and the telescopic short-exposure image T<SB POS="POST">S</SB>are input into an image combining unit 50.
