<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend a commodity as if a customer is listening to word of mouth from a friend who has a similar selection criterion or advice of a salesperson who knows him/her well, which is important for the customer when selecting a commodity. <P>SOLUTION: In a recommendation device connected to an information processing device through a network, a commodity having a characteristic which matches preference of a customer is stored as recommended commodity information corresponding to each customer ID for each customer. At the same time, a commodity which a person similar to the customer has purchased is stored as the recommended commodity information corresponding to each customer ID for each customer. Then, a relevant recommended commodity ID is transmitted as a recommended commodity for a customer ID included in a received recommendation request, and associated commodity information is transmitted as recommendation information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
