<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater that can precisely predict clogging time of piping of a boiling circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater includes: the boiling circuit having a heating means and a pump for sending water to the heating means, which can perform boiling operation in which the water is boiled by the heating means for generating hot water; a rotation speed detection means for detecting the rotation speed of the pump; an index value calculation means for calculating one index regarding a plurality of values for the rotation speed of the pump during the boiling operation as an object for multivariate analysis; and a clogging time predicting means for predicting the clogging time of the piping of the boiling circuit based on an index and a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
