A switching apparatus for fastening to carrier rails in switching systems or the like, has a housing in which a switching unit and a device, which is formed on the underside of the housing, for attaching and locking onto a carrier rail. The device comprises a cut-out adapted to the profile of the carrier rail and is provided with an element which can be displaced with respect to the cut-out and is disposed in an aperture of the housing. The displaceable element is a tongue integrally formed on the underside of the housing by means of at least two ribs. The ribs extend in parallel with one another and are integrally formed at one end on the housing, whereas the tongue is integrally formed at the other end of the ribs. |
