PURPOSE: An UWB(Ultra Wide Band) signal processing apparatus and signal processing method thereof are provided to directly sample the received IR-UWB(Impulse Radio-UWB) signal. CONSTITUTION: A sampling unit(110) samples the inputted signal as a first interval unit. An interval control unit(120) converts the interval of output values into a second interval unit. A quantization unit(130) quantizes the output value of the interval control unit. The second interval unit is bigger than the first interval unit.
