<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable that can prevent damage on an inner tube and an outer tube. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable 1 comprises: an optical fiber 2 that transmits laser light; an inner tube 3 that houses a terminal part of the optical fiber 2; and an outer tube 4 disposed at the outside of the inner tube 3 as surrounding the inner tube 3. A space part 5 is provided between the optical fiber 2 and the inner circumferential face of the inner tube 3. An end face of the optical fiber 2 is in optical contact with an end cap 6. The end cap 6 is made of the same material as that of a core 2a of the optical fiber 2, and has a larger diameter than that of the core 2a. An inner wall face 3a (including the inner circumferential face) of the inner tube 3 is configured so as to reflect most of light radiated to the inner wall face 3a and absorb only a part of the light.
