<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management device or the like that is able to accurately determine operational statuses of plural communication apparatuses connected to one another with plural layers without being affected by turning-off of the power supply of an upper communication apparatus or malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: The network management device comprises: a LAN interface unit 102 for communicating with plural communication apparatuses 2 via a LAN having plural layers; a power-saving wireless interface unit 103, different from the LAN, for communicating with the communication apparatuses 2 via a power-saving wireless network that is a wireless network that performs multi-hop communication; and a network management unit 101 that receives operational status information representing the operational statuses of the communication apparatuses 2 via the power-saving wireless interface unit 103 and records therein the received operational statuses of the communication apparatuses 2, and that transmits network management information to the communication apparatuses 2 via the LAN interface unit 102 and checks the operational statuses of the communication apparatuses 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
