<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumped-storage hydroelectricity water storage pond without requiring land site, large-scale construction costs, or long-term construction period. <P>SOLUTION: A positive-pressure water storage tank having a high water level and a negative-pressure water storage tank having a low water level installed offshore in an integrated manner are combined, and a pipe therebetween connects them to a pumped-storage hydroelectricity motor/generator. Both tanks are structurally connected as an integrated type. When there is surplus electric power, the water in a negative water level water storage tank is fed to the positive-pressure water storage tank by the pumped-storage hydroelectricity motor/generator to increase the water level of the positive-pressure tank. When there is power shortage, the water in the positive-pressure tank having the increased water level is fed to the negative-pressure tank via the pumped-storage hydroelectricity motor/generator to generate electric power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
