<p>Provided is a hot press device capable of tempering a workpiece at an adequate cooling rate. A hot press device (1) for performing hot press molding on a workpiece (W) using a lower die (10) and an upper die (20), wherein the interior of the lower die (10) and the interior of the upper die (20) are provided with a cooling channel (12) and a cooling channel (13) in which a cooling medium flows, and a plurality of gas-introduction holes (13, 14, 15) and (23, 24, 25, 26) through which a heat-conducting gas flows. The plurality of gas-introduction holes (13, 14, 15) and (23, 24, 25, 26) are formed so as to pass through the lower die (10) and the interior of upper die (20) from a molding surface of the lower die (10) and the upper die (20) to a surface other than the molding surface. Hot press molding is performed while the heat-conducting gas is supplied to the area between the workpiece (W) and the lower die (10) and upper die (20) from the plurality of gas-introduction holes (13, 14, 15) and (23, 24, 25, 26) opening on the molding surface of the lower die (10) and the upper die (20).</p> |
