The invention relates to a tool for obtaining samples from a pressure tube which fits out a nuclear reactor, such as a CANDU-type reactor with a view to determining the deuterium content thereof. According to the invention, the tool comprises a cylindrical body () which has a longitudinal axis () and is provided with an aperture () in front of which a cutter assembly () is placed within the body (), supported by a carriage () connected to a shaft () movable along the longitudinal axis (), the cutter assembly () containing some cutters (), namely an oxide cutter and a sample cutter, respectively, and being in connection with a purge fluid passage network (), the cutter assembly () being driven by means of some rollers (). |
