This protein activation treatment system (1) is for activating protein included in a deparaffinized tissue section, for a deparaffinized tissue section (30) obtained by removing paraffin from a formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue section. The protein activation treatment system (1) comprises: a dispensing unit (10) for dispensing an activation treatment solution (31) into a dispensing region (32) enclosing a measurement region (33) of a deparaffinized tissue section (30), such that the activation treatment solution (31) covers the entire inside of the dispensing region (32); and a wet heat treatment unit (20) for heating, under saturated water vapor, the deparaffinized tissue section (30) in which the dispensing region (32) has been covered with the activation treatment solution (31).
