The test device (1) has a receiving device for a vehicle mock-up, that is movably positioned on a rail system (22) of the test device. The mobile rail system is supported on guide rollers of receiving device. A vertically oriented additional frame is provided in receiving device. A tow bar and a spring system are provided in rail system. The proximal, distal and intermediate sections of the rail system are joined together by a secured connection.
