PURPOSE: A substrate for a light emitting device, a method for manufacturing the light emitting device and an apparatus for manufacturing the same are provided to improve luminous efficiency by making concave-round a lower side of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An upper surface(18) of a substrate has a flat plane contacting a first conductive semiconductor layer. A lower surface(16) of the substrate has a concave round plane. A light emitting structure(20) comprises a first conductive semiconductor layer and a second conductive semiconductor layer. The light emitting structure includes an active layer. The thickness of the substrate becomes thinner from the center to the edge. |
