A perimeter screen system 20 comprises a support structure 5 and at least one debris retainer 21. The support structure 5 is mountable to the edge 9 of at least two floors 8 of a construction for translation of the perimeter screen system with respect to the construction. The at least one debris retainer 21 is rotatably mounted to the support structure 5 and rotatable between an operation configuration and a retracted position (shown in Figure 3). In its operational configuration, the debris retainer 21 projects at least partially under the edge 9 of a floor 8 of the construction, to catch debris. In its retracted configuration the debris retainer is positioned away from the construction. A debris retainer device, a construction, and a method of operating a perimeter screen system are also claimed. |
