Apparatus comprising an aircraft wing (10) and a sensing unit (8), wherein the sensing unit (8) comprises: a blister (14) on an underside of the aircraft wing (10); a first and second sensor, at least part of each sensor being either housed in the blister (14) or mounted on or integrated with an outer surface of the blister (14); wherein the first sensor is arranged to measure a first parameter; the second sensor is arranged to measure a second parameter; a measured value for the first parameter is dependent on a speed of the aircraft (2) in a first direction; a measured value for the second parameter is dependent on a speed of the aircraft (2) in a second direction; the first direction is in a plane perpendicular to an aircraft lateral axis; and the second direction is in a plane perpendicular to an aircraft roll axis. |
