<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed cable which does not put an unnecessary load on a motor or the like and is excellent in durability without tearing. <P>SOLUTION: The toothed cable 1 includes a core cable 2, and a tooth line 3 helically wound on the outer periphery of the core cable 2. The toothed cable 1 further includes a covering layer 4 covering, continuously with a resin, the outside of the core cable 2 and the tooth line 3. The toothed cable 1 has: helical convex portions 41 formed by covering the tooth line 3 with the resin; and helical concave portions 42 formed by covering with the resin between tooth lines. The covering layer 4 adheres tightly to the core cable 2 and the tooth line 3, and the film thickness D2 of the covering layer 4 in the helical concave portion 42 is larger than the film thickness D1 of the covering layer 4 in the helical convex portion 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
