<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and a control method of the fuel cell system, in which, by a simple configuration and process, a large-sized three-way valve is made unnecessary and a desired operational state can be secured. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel cell 14 obtained by laminating a plurality of power generation cells 12. Sealing valves 44, 46 are arranged in an oxidant gas supply passage 36 for supplying oxidant gas to the fuel cell 14 and an oxidant gas exhaust passage 38 for exhausting the oxidant gas from the fuel cell 14, respectively. The fuel cell system 10 includes: a branch supply passage 48 which is branched from the oxidant gas supply passage 36 and opened in a fuel cell chamber 54 housing the fuel cell 14 therein; and an on-off valve 52 arranged in the branch supply passage 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
