Alarm device and method for its operation and production

The device has a textile sheet structure (12) i.e. alarm textile, comprising a backing fabric (16) and electrical alarm conductors (18, 18') integrated into the fabric. A damage detector (14) monitors damage of the structure. The conductors are woven into the fabric as a warp thread and/or weft thread under formation of a laminar alarm cell (30). The alarm conductors are electrically connected with the detector over a current path and supply lines (22, 22') that are arranged parallel to each other. The detector is coupled with a control device over bus lines that are woven into the fabric. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an alarm device (2) a method for operating an alarm device.
