PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for automated counting of asbestos fibers and slide thereof are provided to reduce the time of analysis of fiber coefficient by an image analysis method. CONSTITUTION: A driving unit(130) moves intermittently a slide containing asbestos fiber. A signal delay unit(210) includes a waveform generator and delay an input signal for a certain period of time. A trigger connection unit(220) inputs a delayed delay signal. A photographing unit(140) photographs the slide according to the input delay signal. An image processing unit counts asbestos fibers existing in the slide'.
