PURPOSE: An E.coli for overexpressing malonyl-CoA, which is transformed or co-transformed with an expression vector is provided to enhance malonyl acid production and fatty acid content. CONSTITUTION: An E.coli for overexpressing transformed malonyl-CoA is prepared by transformation or cotransformation with an expression vector. The expression vector contains: a nucleotide sequence encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase carboxytransferase subunit alpha; a nucleotide sequence encoding biotin carboxyl carrier protein; a nucleotide sequence encoding an acetyl-CoA carboxylase biotin carboxylase subunit; or a nucleotide sequence encoding acyl-carrier-protein S-malonyltransferase. The expression vector is pET22b vector of sequence number 5.
