<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living body detection sensor certainly identifying whether it is a living body or not, and allowing miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: This living body detection sensor 2 is used together with a biological authentication device performing individual authentication by use of a partial human body, and identifies whether a detected body (e.g. a finger) used for the individual authentication is the living body or not. The living body detection sensor 2 includes: a light source irradiating the detected body; a spectroscope on which light from the detected body irradiated by the light source is incident, dispersing the incident light, and emitting light in at least a specific wavelength range allowing the identification of whether it is the living body or not (e.g. a wavelength range allowing the identification of whether it is the living body or not by use of a W type reflection spectrum pattern detected near a wavelength of 565 nm when it is the living body); and a light receiving element provided so as to receive the light in the specific wavelength range emitted from the spectroscope, and arranged with a plurality of light reception areas in line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
