<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical stapling material and a stapling line reinforcing material. <P>SOLUTION: An anvil assembly includes a staple cartridge assembly having a plurality of trains of a staple accepting slot, and an anvil member defining a plurality of trains of a staple forming recess.
