PLUG CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small connector capable of simultaneously transmitting two kinds of different signals without increasing dimension and costs.

SOLUTION: A plug connector (10') comprises an insulator body (300'); a group of first contacts (100') incorporated in the insulator body, and having plural first contact parts (101a'-105a') on one side of the insulator body and plural first legs (101b'-105b') on the other side of the insulator body; a group of second contacts (200') having plural second contact parts (201a'-212a') on one side of the insulator body and plural second legs (201b'-212b') on the other side of the insulator body; and a metal shield surrounding the insulator body. The first contact parts are aligned in line in a lateral direction of the insulator body. The second contact parts are aligned in another line in the lateral direction of the insulator body. The line of the first contact parts is isolated from the line of the second contact parts by a predetermined distance in a vertical direction of the insulator body.
