<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise conveyance device of an automatic dispenser capable of reducing stagnation of merchandises by a forcing means for forcing a merchandise detection lever of a sold out detection lever to move into a merchandise receiving path. <P>SOLUTION: The merchandise conveyance device has a merchandise detection lever 582 which is pivoted to move into/out of a merchandise receiving path 43 through an opening of a base plate 50 and is forced so as to move into the merchandise receiving path 43. A lever piece 5821 of the merchandise detection lever 582, which is bent in a concave shape in cross-section, is pivoted by a base plate 50 (on an engaging shaft 582A) at one end thereof so that the concave-bent portion 5822 is positioned near the base plate 50. The other end of the lever piece 5821 is a contact point P0 which comes into contact with a merchandise G. The concave-bent portion 5822 in the lever piece 5821 of the merchandise detection lever 582 is formed so as not to come into contact with the merchandise G. In the merchandise detection lever 582, a long distance is ensured from the pivoted point (engaging shaft 582A) to the contact point where comes into contact with the merchandise G.
