<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a cutting insert and a chip groove by delivering fluid to the chip groove without rapidly losing the pressure of a pressurized cleaning fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting tool includes a front head 1 and a rear holder 2 which are connected so as to be removed by a male-female coupling part, a screw 16, and a washer 18. A cooling liquid is supplied to a chamber 7 through a main duct 20, and supplied from the chamber 7 to separate cutting inserts 5 through a branch duct 11. The chamber 7 is closed by a cover 21, and the cover is applied to a ring surface 10 which surrounds the chamber 7, and held. The cover 21 can be fastened by threaded connecting parts 25, 26, and the threaded connecting parts 25, 26 act independently from threaded connecting parts 19a, 19b positioned between the screw and a front area of the main duct 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
