The static mixer has a set of mixing elements (2) axially fixed to each other and arranged at a distance from each other. A baffle plate (1) is arranged at an inlet end of the mixer before the mixing elements, and includes an upstream protruding central pin or spigot (11) passing into an actual axle-vertical baffle plate (13) through a diverging transition area (12). The latter baffle plate is star-shaped with a set of star arms, and passage openings (14) are formed between the star arms. The star arms start from a circular center area of the latter baffle plate. |
