Continuous press and process to manufacture wood panels

The continuous press has several press frames (3) that are arranged in longitudinal direction. An upper press plate (1) and a lower press plate (2) are arranged on the press frames. Several cylinder piston assemblies (6) are connected to upper press plate. A pressure distribution plate (7) is arranged between each two adjacent press frames. A support (8) is arranged on pressure distribution plate for supporting press plates, such that height of the support is adjustable for variation of pressing process. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing wood-based board.
