摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferromagnetic iron oxide particles for cancer ablation which exhibit excellent heating efficiency by increasing the rectangularity ratio of magnetic hysteresis curve thereby increasing the magnetic hysteresis loss. <P>SOLUTION: The ferromagnetic iron oxide particles for cancer ablation of the present invention has a planar shape where the diameter is 30-300 nm, and the ratio of the diameter to the thickness is 1.5-30, and has magnetic characteristics where the coercive-force is 50-500 Oe, the saturation magnetization is 30-80 emu/g, and the rectangularity ratio of magnetic hysteresis curve is 0.20-0.50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
