<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously and efficiently producing an optical film while effectively preventing resin peeling of a cured resin on a substrate film and generation of a residual resin on a casting mold, and thereby, preventing problems such as defects. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing an optical film comprises: an application step of applying a coating liquid containing an active energy ray-curable resin on a substrate film 11 continuously conveyed, to form a coating layer; and a curing step of irradiating the resin with active energy rays through the substrate film 11 while the surface of the coating layer is pressed to the surface of a casting mold 14. In the curing step, the pressure applied to regions in both ends in a width direction of the coating layer, when the surface of the coating layer is pressed to the surface of the casting mold 14, is lower than that in the center region in the width direction located between the regions in both ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
