PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor capable of displaying text information on a 3D monitor.

SOLUTION: A medical image processor of one embodiment includes: an image storage section for storing three dimensional medical image data: a text information storage section for storing text information associated with the three dimensional medical image data stored in the image storage section; a parallax image generating section for generating a plurality of parallax images that is generated by synthesizing the three dimensional medical image data and the text information and is corresponding to a plurality of parallax directions different from one another by using projection processing; and a displaying section for displaying the plurality of parallax images that is generated by synthesizing the three dimensional medical image data and the text information by the parallax image generating section so as to allow the plurality of parallax images to be stereoscopically viewed. The parallax image generating section changes orientation of a display area of the text information depending on the plurality of parallax directions.
