SLIDING BEARING STRUCTURE OF SHAFT MEMBER AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing structure of a shaft member and an assembly method thereof, while improving assembling workability.

SOLUTION: In the sliding bearing structure of the shaft member, lubricant oil is supplied between slide faces of a rotatable shaft member 10 and a bearing member 12 assembled and supported to a bearing housing 14, and an annular seal member 18 that has a large thermal expansion coefficient and having a mating portion is mounted on an annular groove 16 formed on both end sections of the inner circumferential surface of the bearing member 12. The bearing member 12 is divided into a plurality of members along a plane including a shaft line and provided with a band 22 that integrally retains the plurality of members in its outer circumferential surface.
