<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container apparatus for cultivation capable of cultivating plants and mushrooms with high production efficiency by effectively using the container. <P>SOLUTION: In the container apparatus 1 for cultivation, a plurality of cultivation shelves 3 that can slide along a plurality of guide rail pairs 7 arranged along the ceiling surface are suspended inside the container 2 for surface transport. By sliding the cultivation shelves 3 in a container width direction, a passage for a human to move can be secured between adjacent ones of cultivation shelves 3 or between the inner lateral side and the cultivation shelf in the container. Compared to a case where the cultivation shelves 3 are arranged fixedly on both sides of a passage provided in the container 2, the cultivation shelves 3 can be arranged densely, thereby increasing the production per unit area.
