PURPOSE: A power transmission unit for a wind power generator is provided to improve the durability of a gear box by preventing the load of a rotor and a main shaft from being exerted on the gear box. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission unit for a wind power generator comprises a main shaft(110) which is rotated by a rotor and supported on the main frame via first and second bearings(116,117), a gear box(120), and a main frame(150) which supports the main shaft and is formed with a rotation controller in order to prevent a gear box case from being rotated along with the main shaft. The gear box includes an input shaft, an output shaft, an accelerating gear for increasing the rotation ratio of the output shaft to the input shaft, and the gear box case(125). |
