<p>PURPOSE: A leachate for recovering precious metal contained in wastes and a leaching method using the same are provided to minimize the discharge of toxic materials and ensure environmentally-friendly effect by using organic acid such as natural malic acid or citric acid included in fruit or plant. CONSTITUTION: A leachate for recovering precious metal contained in wastes comprises organic acid of 0.2-3M and water. The organic acid is selected among malic acid, citric acid, malonic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, ascorbic acid, acrylic acid, glutaric acid, and tartaric acid.
