A protective case 10 is releasably securable to a mobile electronic device of the type having a front face incorporating a control panel, a rear face and a loudspeaker such as a mobile phone; the case 10 is shaped to fit over the rear face of the device and incorporates a flat acoustic waveguide 16 for passively amplifying sound emitted from the loudspeaker. The case 10 may be formed from rigid or flexible material and may include an opening 30 for a camera forming part of the electronic device. |
