PURPOSE: A shock absorbing structure for a vehicle body is provided to minimize the deformation of the vehicle body by distributing impact energy from front side of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing structure for a vehicle body comprises a front side member(10), an upper bumper beam(20), a front suspension(30), and a lower bumper beam(40). The front side member is composed of a pair of lateral members in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The upper bumper beam is installed in the front side of a power train. The lower bumper beam is connected to the front suspension.
