PURPOSE: A polymethacrylate resin composition is provided to have excellent light transmittance and light diffusing agent, to have excellent mechanical properties, to increase efficiency of a light emitting diode and to reduce a number of chips in the light emitting diode. CONSTITUTION: A polymethacrylate resin composition comprises 90-99.95 weight% of polymethacrylate resin, 0.05-10 weight% of hetero-organic particles as a light-diffusing agent. The cross sectional shape of the hetero-organic particle is cylindrical, the diameter ratio of long axis and short axis is 5-75%, the difference of refractivity with the polymethacrylate-based resin is 0.01-0.09, the diameter of the long axis is 1-50 micron and the diameter of the short axis is 0.05-37,5 micron. The hetero-organic particle is a methylmethacrylate-styrene copolymer.
