PURPOSE: A rotor having different length and an LSPM(Line-Start Permanent Magnet) motor comprising the rotor are provided to reduce vibration and noise by controlling the length of a conductor bar of edge portion and the central part of a magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft inserting hole in which a rotary shaft is inserted is formed in the central part of a rotor iron core(21). Plural permanent magnet inserting holes(26) are formed in the circumference of the rotary shaft inserting holes. Plural conductor bar inserting holes(27) are formed in the external periphery of the plural permanent magnet inserting holes.
