The apparatus comprises 1: a divider plate 5 and an elongate extension. The divider plate bounds a side of the slab, the plate having first and second faces. The elongate extension 2 is secured to the first face of the divider plate for sliding extension to an extended position in which the extension bridges a gap between the divider plate and a sub-base on which the floor slab is laid. The apparatus comprises no component which, in use, directly attaches to the second face of the divider plates. The extension may comprise: a side wall; an elongate foot with a return edge on the foot which results in an extension with a J shaped cross section. Also claimed is a concrete floor with the apparatus and a method of manufacturing a concrete floor with the apparatus. |
