<p>Methods and systems for obtaining music track information for a music track playing on a radio broadcast signal. The method comprises storing music track information received from a music information service in a data storage module. When an intermediary server receives a request from an end-user device for music track information for a particular music track playing on a particular radio broadcast signal, it first checks the data storage module to determine if it already has music track information for the particular music track. If it does, it provides the music track information from the data storage module to the end-user device. In some cases the intermediary server may be configured to automatically request information from the music information service each time a new music track is played and in other cases to request information from the music information service the first time it receives a request.</p> |
