PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to suppress the power consumption of a processor and maintain information of a circuit configuration in a logic circuit even the supply of a power voltage is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor device includes a plurality of operation circuits(105), a selection circuit, and a memory circuit(103). The memory circuit includes a first transistor(107) and a capacitive element(109) and inputs data to the selection circuit by the first transistor. The selection circuit selects an operation result of a plurality of operation circuits according to data. A channel forming region of the first transistor includes an oxide semiconductor. Data is inputted to the capacitive element by the first transistor.
