The motor-driven hand-held grinder (10) comprises a grinding disk (11) in a grinding head housing (12), which is connected with an output shaft (13) in a torque-proof manner. The output shaft is driven by a drive motor over an input shaft (16) with downstream reduction gear (17). A suction fan wheel (20) made of metal or plastic part is provided on the input shaft as a part of a dust extraction device. The reduction gear is made of a planetary gear (29) arranged between the input shaft and the output shaft. A sun gear (26) of the planetary gear is a part of the input shaft.
