<p>PURPOSE: A PNA probe for identifying mealybug and a PNA chip containing the same are provided to ensure excellent sensitivity and specificity. CONSTITUTION: A PNA probe for identifying mealybug has a base sequence selected from sequence numbers 4-16. The mealybug includes Crisicoccus matsumotoi, Dysmicoccus wistariae, Phenacoccus aceris, Phenacoccus pergandei, Spilococcus sp., Planococcus kraunhiae, Pseudococcus comstocki, Pseudococcus nr. Comstocki, or Planococcus citri. A PNA chip for identifying mealybug contains one or more PNA probes. A method for detecting mealybug contained in a sample comprises: a step of isolating DNA from the sample; a step of reacting the DNA with the PNA probe, PNA chip, or an identification kit; and a step of determining the presence of mealybug when the result is positive response.</p> |
