<p>PURPOSE: A method for selecting a plurality of matrixes and reception apparatus using the same are provided to obtain minimum values by gradually search a minimum matrix from an MSB(Most Significant Bit) to an LSB(Least Significant Bit). CONSTITUTION: A reception circuit(520) receives a received signal from a transmission apparatus. A matrix determination unit(540) determines the number M of matrixes expressed as the number B of bits based on a channel which receives the received signal. The matrix determination unit selects the matrixes from the number M to the number N. A restoration unit(550) restores the transmission signal of the transmission apparatus from the received signal based on the number N of the matrixes.
