PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing the emission of volatile organic compounds(VOC) from a crude oil carrying vessel is provided to efficiently produce liquefied nitrogen by liquefying nitrogen gas using the cooled energy of LNG supplied to a gas fuel engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for reducing the emission of VOC from a crude oil carrying vessel includes a liquefied nitrogen storing tank(110), an expansion valve, a heat exchanger(130), and a two phase separator(140). The expansion valve adiabatic expands liquefied nitrogen from the liquefied nitrogen storing tank. The heat exchanger heat-exchanges nitrogen gas through the expansion valve and VOC from a cargo hold to cool the VOC. The two phase separator separates the VOC through the heat exchanger into liquid phase and gas phase.
