PURPOSE: Functional red pepper paste containing ramie leaves, and a producing method thereof are provided to offer an excellent free radical removing effect. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of functional red pepper paste containing ramie leaves comprises the following steps: mixing 6-12 parts of glutinous rice gruel by weight and 1-50 parts of ramie leaf powder by weight to obtain a first mixture; adding 6-13 parts of fermented wheat powder by weight into the first mixture to obtain a second mixture; adding red pepper powder, grain syrup, and salt into the second mixture to obtain a third mixture; and aging the third mixture at 25-32 deg. C for 10-30 days.
