Clasp for timepiece wristband

The clasp (1) has a buckle (2) firmly connected to a first free end of a strap and defining a central passage (18) for a second free end of the strap. A locking element engages with one of strands of the strap to lock the strand along a longitudinal direction of the strap. The buckle comprises a transverse bar (4) defining a wall of a housing for receiving the first free end of the strap. The housing comprises a fastener e.g. stud (20), engaging with the bar so as to integrate the housing with the bar.
