<p>PURPOSE: A boring apparatus for preventing sample loss and sample from scattering in a core is provided to prevent submarine sediments located at the inside of a core by sealing the top of the core using a stopper. CONSTITUTION: A boring apparatus for preventing sample loss and sample from scattering in a core comprises an outer tube(10), a core(20), a stopper(30), a screw(40), and a stopper moving unit(50). The outer tube is inserted into a seabed. The core is located inside the outer tube and is inserted into the seabed with the outer tube. The inserted core is filled with submarine sediments. The stopper seals the top of the core. The screw is located at the top of the core. When the inserted outer tube and core are pulled up, the screw is rotated. The stopper moving unit moves the stopper to the top of the core to seal the top of the core.</p> |
