<p>PURPOSE: A battery pack management system is provided to improve stability of products with the battery pack by directly and indirectly correct errors in a host device in case errors are generated in a microprocessor of a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack management system protects a battery pack(220) through a communication with a host device(210) and an external server. The host device comprises a storage medium(211) storing an update data of a specific program transferred through a communication with the external server. The battery pack comprises a battery cell(225), a charging/discharging control part(223) controlling the charging and discharging of the battery cell, and a data communication part(221) transferring data between the microprocessor and the storage medium.
